Serving as a "church verger" at St. Matthews-in-the-City aligns with the principles of the Ten Commandments.

My responsibilities entail aiding the presiding minister in managing the order of service, which includes tasks such as collecting litter, overseeing sound engineering, moving heavy furniture (including the cross), and extending a warm welcome to parishioners and guests.

As a hobby from this role, I collect used batteries for my keyboard, always carry spare batteries on my travels and endeavour to learn the Lord’s Prayer in te reo Māori.
